Chef and Owner
As a Nutritionist and a trained chef, Marnie’s appreciation for food goes beyond the palate. She is a graduate of the Dietetics Program at the University of British Columbia. Her love of food and her talent for cooking started in 1998, when she attended the George Brown College Culinary Arts Program in Toronto.
Marnie is passionate about feeding people and helping people reach their nutritional goals. Her multi-dimensional approach to good eating, includes; nutrition education, meal planning, food selection, and food preparation. She presents her clients with a culinary delight, as well as provides a solid education in sustainable, mindful eating practices for optimal health.
D'Arcy Demoe started his culinary adventure in Durham region just outside Toronto, Ontario at a caribbean inspired restaurant. With the addiction to the fast paced restaurant industry D'Arcy took his talents to Whistler where he worked at various kitchens. Realizing the potential to be creative he decided to go back to Toronto and study at George Brown college. Under the influence of Chef Morgan Wilson and Chef Rendall Mercer as part of the opening team at Trios Bistro . In 2011 D'Arcy and his family moved back to Whistler and with the inspiration of the mountains worked as Head Chef of Steeps on Whistler mountain and now Chef of Harvest Catering.
Josh brings with him an Eastern Canadian and European background. Having grown up on a small farm in Southern Ontario, Josh has a special appreciation for locally grown and foraged ingredients.
After graduating from Culinary school in 2011, Josh Moved to British Columbia and worked under some of Canada's most decorated Chefs, Bernard Cassavant and Brad Horen at Manteo Resort. After leaving in 2015, Josh worked at Mission Hill Family Estate under Chefs Patrick Gayler and Chris Stewart.
